If You Ain’t Got Goals, You Ain’t Gettin’ Nowhere

If you ain’t got goals, you ain’t gettin nowhere. #RealTalk

This is true on so many different levels.

Whether you’re trying to lose weight, get healthy, build a business, climb the corporate ladder, raise kids, train animals, make babies, live life, travel…the list goes on and on.

You HAVE to know what direction you’re going in if you want to get anywhere.

Your best life is not going to magically happen by sitting on the couch, binging on Netflix and eating {{insert fave snack item here}}… Ya feel me sister?!

Seriously…..I know because I used to be that girl.

I used to sit around expecting the world to give me a handout. That I DESERVED more by doing less.

That because of everything I’ve been through in my life…the challenges, the triumphs, the losses…the world owed me something

I. Was. Wrong.

Dreams don’t create themselves.

Jumping in the trenches, working your ass of when you don’t want to and sending the message to the universe that you’re serious about receiving abundance…. this is how dreams become reality.

Sound harsh? Maybe

Did I get your attention? Absolutely

Am I coming from a place of love? Always

It’s messages like these that get ME off MY ass. So I’m paying it forward to HELP YOU get off yours.

So is this question rolling around you head: “How the eff do I start doing that??” Great! That’s step one, love 😉

Grab a journal, notebook, a piece of paper, ANYTHING! And just start writing, start dreaming, start envisioning what you want most out of life right now. What is it that your soul is craving to change about your situation right now? Where do you want to be next week, next month, next year?

Just start putting pen to paper, everyday, and soon you’ll realize your taking the action you only thought about taking before.

Every morning I wake up before my family. Before the kids, before my husband needs to be up for work, before the dog needs to potty, before the sun. I meditate, I listen to the little voice inside that guides me, I read personal development and I start writing.

Every morning I write out my goals, affirmations and mantras…they help me focus, remind me of why I’m doing what I do and teaching me to love myself exactly where I’m at and who I am today.

Success doesn’t happen overnight, so learn to embrace the process. XO, Amy
